In just a few short weeks, another holiday season will be upon us. For many, it is a time of joy, celebration and a time surrounded by those we love. For others like you in our community, many will be grieving the loss of a loved one - a parent, spouse, sibling, child or friend. For someone experiencing grief, the holiday season can be a particularly tough time.
In honor of National Children's Grief Awareness Day which is November 17th, Fernside: A Center for Grieving Children will illuminate an evergreen on the grounds of our headquarters in Blue Ash with twinkling blue lights, the “Celebration of Life”. This inspiring display of lights allows our community an opportunity to make the holiday season about joy and remembrance.
We invite you to purchase one or more lights in memory of your loved one and show your support for children and families who have lost a loved one this year. Each light twinkles in honor of a special person chosen by a caring friend of Fernside...like you.
Each light is $25 and your gift not only honors your loved one, but helps Fernside continue serving thousands of grieving children and families in our community.
