The Bethesda Retired Nurses committee has started a new scholarship fund for senior high school students in the Cincinnati community interested in pursuing a nursing degree. The scholarship is named after one of our most beloved nurses, Wilma Brown, who passed away in 2018.

For more than 40 years, Wilma Brown worked at Bethesda North Hospital. As the Director of Medical Surgical Nursing, she embodied the spirit of the nursing profession. With her low key, unassuming style, she was the kindest, most compassionate person you could ever hope to meet.
